My name is Colin Knight a nd I have been hairdressing for 18 years in top salons in Cambridge and on the Gold Coast. During my career I have been mentored by the best in the business on all aspects of hair cutting, colouring, session hair (including hair up for weddings etc.), barbering, hair shoots and shows. I have taught creative cutting at L’Oreal in London, Leeds and Belfast and l love to share ideas and knowledge.
I am a dedicated stylist who enjoys working closely with clients to fulfill their hair needs along their ever-changing hair journey. Communication is key to client satisfaction and I offer an in-depth consultation to ensure we get the best results. I take into account lifestyle, skin and hair tone, condition, face shape and latest trends to recommend the best course of action.

My name is Zoë Chesham and I have been hairdressing for 6 years.

After 3 years of training at leading hair salons in London and Cambridge, I qualified as a level 3 hairstylist. During my training in Cambridge, I met Ruth and Colin. Ruth was my educator for a section of my level 2 qualification.

After qualifying, I continued to progress my skills by completing the L'Oreal Colour Specialist course in London, achieving 95%. I have also thoroughly enjoyed creative colour days with major salons in London, to give clients colours that stand out from the crowd.

I now have a big love for everything related to colour and especially enjoy taking clients through the journey of discovering what colours will best suit their skin tone and hair cut.

My name is Ruth Macintosh

I have 40 years experience in the hairdressing industry.

I started my training in 1979 at John Oliver in Cambridge, who at that time had one of the best training programs around. They also had some some amazing hairstylists that helped to influence me from a very early age as trainers.

I then went on to work in a barbers shop for a period of time before going travelling, on my return I worked for two lovey guys called Toni and Remi, who I still call friends to this day.

In 1994 I got married and moved to Manchester, here I worked for a group called Terence Paul, whose owner taught me, knowledge is power and that has stayed with me. We had regular in salon training and went on various courses at The Wella studios. I taught education with in the salon group about a hair loss product range that they were using and I loved using at the time.

On returning to Cambridge in 2006 I taught for a period of time at Cambridge Regional College Hairdressing Academy, this was good experience.

I then worked for Concept Professional a product company, education hairdressers on top end ranges in well known salons throughout East Anglia, Essex and London.

During this time I realised I was missing the practical and artistic side of hairdressing. Cutting, creating looks that my clients feel comfortable with, ladies and men. Colouring hair to work with the haircut! Hair up, weddings, proms, night out....

2009 I met Colin during an interview, this was to work for a London based company who were opening in Cambridge. We both got the job.

During my time working for this company I qualified as an NVQ Assessor and did My Level 3 Award in Education and Teaching. It is/was such a satisfying job, teaching someone how to hold a comb or brush let alone cut or colour the hair!

I won a special recognition award for my time spent training the apprentices.

The company was always extending our knowledge, with in salon courses and as an educator I had to make sure my knowledge was always up to date.

I started working with Colin at the end of January 2019, the atmosphere is relaxed to work in, no pressure, it is great!!
